“It matters who our neighbors are and we feel connected to people that we are surrounded by.”
Pic by Michael M. Luzzi.

“Born from the pandemic, the Providence Drum Troupe is an interactive group of dynamic musicians, a wide-range of acrobats, artists, puppetry and more from near and far who create funky beats with positive energy, demonstrating that living in harmony with one another is not an antiquated notion. The Providence Drum Troupe is a whirlwind of creative energy full of antics and a joyous racket. Its performances create magic and beauty from mayhem for all to witness quietly or join in freely.”

Opportunities are like night owls. They like to streak naked and howl at the moon. A lot of success in life comes down to luck. So put yourself in a position to get lucky. Because you know what happens if you don't go out? Nothing.

By the nature of being a professional performance artist, the art of modeling for a photoshoot comes easy for the Troupe! Featured in David Lee Black's Creating Your Vision Photography Workshop, members of the Troupe had a lot of fun interacting with each other and the cool space of The Shop in Natick, MA.

#SpaceTransformationStation experiments designed to combine Yuranian Alien DNA with that of human percussionists seem to have resulted in a functioning musical/visual mish-mash on a float in Saturday afternoon's Sept 18 @pvdirishparade.
Members of the @theprovidencedrumtroupe became extraterrestrial from the neck up while creatures from the #bignazolab celebrated the transformation.

To see people for their merits instead of their demerits . . .

“Born from the pandemic, we are the Providence Drum Troupe: Musicians, acrobats, fire-arts, life-size puppets, stilt-walkers, hoopers, lasers and dancers who create funky beats with positive interactive energy demonstrating that living in harmony with one another is not an antiquated notion.”
