David Lee Black - "DLB" - Founder of PDT, David brought the creative forces together for the Providence Drum Troupe. David also lends his personal philosophy and artistic skill to his work as an accomplished musician, sculpture artist, photographer and expressive arts therapist.
Cocktail Cote
John "Cocktail Cote" Cote is a professional musician and musical director for Providence Drum Troupe. He ensures the beats are tight, and leads the percussionists through rehearsals. While he goes by Cocktail Cote, his drink of choice is the margarita.
Jessica Rabbit
Jess "Jessica Rabbit" Sullivan - vocalist, hype chick, and PDT videographer. Jessica Rabbit is also a mind/body fitness coach whose mission is to cultivate and nurture a new line of growth and development in every person she works with. She's also passionate about the plant-based lifestyle. "Jess is an embodiment of what she teaches - she keeps it real," says fellow trouper Jamie Lyn. GMC Suede
Gina "GMC Suede" Carcerano Adamson - Percussionist.
Gina - a lil bit tomboy, a lil bit siren - but most of all a mother of two little humans. All time in between, GMC Suede is an artist. She’s been defined as a singer, a musician, and can be found particularly enjoying her studio time creating captivating magic with her portraiture drawings. Whether it be with a drumstick, a pencil, or her self- proclaimed "Champion Of The World" ping pong title ~ GMC Suede’s hands are a force to be reckoned with!
JMark
Mark "JMark" Macrina - Snare drum and official drone video producer for PDT.

Alexander the Grateful
Alexander the Grateful - Bass Drum. Alex bought an electronic kit in 2018 and began playing after a many-decades-long hiatus from the drums. In his free time when not playing drums, he writes, hangs out with Nikki (the family Boston Terrier), enjoys the Providence restaurant scene, and reads the New Yorker.
BINX
Bianca “BINX” Gouveia: I’ve been singing my whole life, so naturally music has always been such a big part of it. I love writing my own songs, performing with my band YONKS, and recording music in my spare time. I have also had a lifetime love for literature, so I can usually be found reading a book (and cuddling with my cat).
Patman
Patrick "Patman" Heaney on the Bass Drum!
Deep in the northwestern corner of Rhode Island lives this drummer, half-man half-dark-knight, banished to the woods to find peace and sweet drum beats from the sorority house from which he lives sharing time and space with his wife and three daughters, dozens of chickens and, of course, his trusty sidekick, Stanley - one handsome standard poodle! Patman has been playing drums in many forms from metal punk rock in funk and everything in between for over 30 years, always in search for new beats and fellow musicians and good times to be had. Patman has built a shiny new green bass drum from which he now creates new beats with PDT.
The Wind
Micaiah "The Wind" Castro - Percussionist.
Micaiah is a multitalented artist, and drumming is one of his passions. You may have seen him as a living statue with Ten31 Productions. "Drumming is a form of therapy that anyone can do," Micaiah says. We agree.
Professor WOO
Professor WOO has been passionate about music and martial arts for decades. A Professor of International Law and a Global Business and Legal Consultant, Professor WOO has worked in more than 80 different nations on 5 continents. Volunteering with the ONE Campaign to help end global poverty, and as the Community and Brand Ambassador for Anti Trafficking International, Professor WOO is dedicated to making the world a better place, through music and education.
El Dunco
El Dunco has been drumming since his teenage years and enjoys playing in his various projects, including The Providence Drum Troupe! In his time away from PDT you can catch him resolving various tech issues under his other alter ego, the Digital Handyman, catching some sun, or quoting the Simpsons.
Rock Paint
Rock Paint brings indigenous flavor to the group with a variety of drums and native chants. Rock owns and operates Rock's Defensive Arts, instructing students in self defense, martial arts and self empowerment.
Rose Noir
Mary Langlois "Moko" (she/her/hers) is a native Rhode Islander who studied ballet at Festival Ballet in high school and then went on to receive her bachelor's degree in dance from Rhode Island College. After college, she traveled to Ireland where she got her first taste of aerial dance. She continued her aerial training in Colorado with Frequent Flyers Aerial Productions. Frequent Flyers opened a world of different aerial arts including lyra, fabric, trapeze, bungee and stilt dancing. Now Mary is back in Providence ready to take to the sky!
Bubble Fairy
Sara Joy "Bubble Fairy" is an accomplished model, hooper, fire artist, small business owner and the ambassador of goodwill for PDT. You can usually see Sara leading a parade of children and children-at-heart with her magic bubbles.

Our friends The Yuranians from the Big Nazo Lab often make interplanetary cameo appearances at PDT performances.
Acacia
Casey Lumb, MSW, LICSW, Registered Play Therapist™ - Casey is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and a Registered Play Therapist™ from Providence, Rhode Island. She earned her Masters in Social Work from Rhode Island College School of Social Work in 2013. A professional circus performer since 2010, she received a Certificate in Level 2 Circus Arts Therapy® in 2014 by Carrie Heller, LCSW, RPT™. Casey works with individuals, groups, and families in her private practice, Providence Play Therapy. She uses play therapy and circus arts including juggling, hula hooping, balancing, partner yoga, theatrics, and more for creative expression, healing trauma, increasing self-esteem, and building social-emotional and self-regulation skills. She is a performer of Providence Drum Troupe, and co-founder of Circus Dynamics. In addition, she is an Associate Faculty at Post University teaching coursework such as Environment for Play for students pursuing their Bachelor's degree in Child Studies.
The Masked Clubsman
Jay is a man of many talents, from massage therapy and many other healing arts to the visually hypnotic wonders of his Indian Club Swing flows.
The PDT experience would not be the same without this masked man- clubs and shoes glowing, arms flowing, and with so much strong steady joy. Behind the scenes, he is a constant source of positive light to us, and ever ready to lend one of those flowing hands to any of us that might need it.

Maurice Reid Eighme is a wildly-talented juggler and visual artist with Circus Dynamics, a gentleman, and a scholar. Reid is a visual delight to behold!

Krazy Rae
Stacy "Krazy Rae" brings her magic wings and athletic dance talent to the Troupe in strange and wondrous ways! A designer at heart, she creates amazingly unique custom dresses and costumes and is well connected to the Providence art scene. Connected to the ocean, Krazy Rae is an avid sailor and beach bum.
Chili Pepper
Masquerading her harp as a percussive instrument, Chili Pepper marched her way into PDT after being a longtime groupie. By day an occupational therapist in two hospitals and spending her evenings in her ceramic sculpture studio, she also spends an inordinate amount of time searching for flotsam treasures on the beach with her dogs.
Melanie Moore
Melanie Moore brings her light to PDT with her command of all things flow, including Buugeng!
Dr. M
Anne Marie enjoys playing drums, trumpet, and piano, as well as composing music and writing. She has authored two books, Whispers from Above and Reflections of the Heart and The Tapestry of My Life. Anne Marie has earned masters' degrees in music education and psychology and thrives on sharing a variety of musical experiences with people of all ages and backgrounds. During her twenty-nine-year tenure as a public-school musical specialist and classroom teacher, Anne Marie earned the title of "Teacher of the Year" in the North Providence School Department. Anne Marie has also served as an adjunct professor in a graduate program in organizational leadership, having earned a Ph. D. in this field. She is currently serving as a mentor in an executive mentorship program, advising graduate students who are studying organizational leadership. Despite being rather reserved and introverted by nature, Anne Marie's lifelong love for performing music continues to serve as a vibrant means of connecting with others on a deeply meaningful level. Since the early nineties, wherever she goes, Anne Marie has discovered drumming with others to be both therapeutic and cathartic. Anne Marie is thrilled to be a part of the profoundly talented, multi-faceted, and award-winning Providence Drum Troupe!
Majesty
Majesty has been dancing all her life. She’s a belly dancer, ballet dancer, tap dancer, jazz dancer, swing dancer and creative dancer. She’s a former member of the Beledi Dance Company under the direction of Kanina, the Azama Dance Company directed by Inara, the URI Dance Company, Erja Fischer’s DanceArt Company, the Rhode Island Tap Ensemble directed by Russ Maitland, and the University Ballet Company under the direction of Myles Marsden. She dances in parades as a witch or a butterfly or a sea creature, and of course with the PDT!
Majesty has a BA in Theatre & Dance, an MA in Education, and a deep love for glitter, sequins, and all things sparkly or shiny. But her joy is bringing smiles to the faces of audiences of all ages! Majesty is delighted and deeply honored to be a member of the Providence Drum Troupe.
Flow Chad
FlowChad is a long time New England DJ, flow artist, fire spinner and variety performer with a flair for the dramatic, who has been studying and performing the unique art of Buugeng since 2013. FlowChad has been sharing his love for performance and flowarts for years and has been teaching flowarts locally and at festivals since 2017.
FlowChad is also a puppeteer with a fun family of fabricated friends who he has worked with on numerous web projects like Ditto Monster’s kid-friendly gaming channel on YouTube, as well as fun live events at libraries, schools, charity events and more. Puppets are fun, friendly, and always bring a smile to faces young and old.
REV
Rev aka The Reverend Al Mighty - Bass Drum.
A one time kickboxer who now holds a directors position in a National Law firm.
If there is something weird and wonderful going on, there is a good chance The Rev is a part of it. From hosting Zombie Night, burlesque shows, acting, emcee'ing roller derby and variety shows to officiating over 200 RI weddings, the Rev can be found almost anywhere the strange, beautiful and artistic meet to spread love in all its artistic ways.
Sammich
Sammich - 'Sam' to his friends, and everybody is his friend - is a Fabricated American from East Providence who loves to drum and to make people smile! He spends most of his time with his friends and family and he loves to spread positivity wherever he goes. He loves being a part of the Providence Drum Troupe, because they're all about his two favorite things - playing drums and making people smile!
The Librarian
Aimee "The Librarian" Fontaine was hooked from her first PDT gig. Willing to jump in wherever needed, she is currently beating on the big white bass drum. Usually found in striped tights and a tutu, her love of thrifting and playing dress up has finally found its true purpose. Literally a librarian, she runs one of the busiest libraries in the state, and is committed to broadening access to books, services and information to all communities across the City of Providence.
