creating sound aids in emotional release

Hellooo you pack of wild wolves! It's Jamie Lyn, choosing to share what came up during the June full moon performance, and how I used the singing bowl - and sound - to process feelings of grief and rage.

Each performance with Providence Drum Troupe is going to be different and exactly what is needed at that time.

The performers are vessels of sound and story, and it's theater writing itself within the elements of our environment!

[Missing content to be added soon.]  ns arise, use a singing bowl or drum and release (roars, screams, howls, tears) into the sound.

There are times when what we're feeling isn't even ours. When we begin asking, 'is this mine?' it takes some of the power away from what you're feeling. Empathic people are sensitive to energy  - it's not always our rage, our grief. That said, sometimes it's hard to shake, so go ahead and howl/roar. Let it go, let it flow and let the wind carry it away.
