“For over a year and a half now I’ve been blessed to help spread good cheer & positive energy with fellow performance artists of the Providence Drum Troupe.
Born from the pandemic with what started out as a musical/social outlet between friends, PDT has become something extraordinary!   We’ve been invited to play galas, fundraisers, weddings, birthdays, wrestling matches, Halloween at Barnaby Castle, parade after parade, and so much more.  We bomb restaurants and random parties with our marching band/circus vibe just for the shock and awe of it.  We Felt the Bern (see pic) after parading Montpelier VT’s 4th of July celebration AND won Rhode Island’s Best Street Band 2022!
We started 2023 off right with an invitation to join the new Mayor of Providence’s inaugural procession ~ what can we say, the guys got good taste 😉.  You can find us spreading the love this month up in the White Mountains, and in Austin TX this upcoming spring as we’ve excepted the invite to rock the street band festival Honk! 2023.
While this troupe turned family has reached new heights together with each incredible experience, the communities that welcome us fuel our spirits with their dancing feet and smiles!
That’s what I’ve been doing just sayin’…..
and it’s been SO DAMN FUN!
